International Opportunities
From the small business to the international corporation, every business interaction, product, and service has the potential to have a global impact. From our internationally experienced faculty to our course offerings, we will prepare you to thrive in that environment. One example is the China in Transition summer course, which provides MBA students a hands-on opportunity to gain international and consulting experience. Students do background preparation in the first part of the semester and then travel to mainland China. There, they partner with students from City University of Hong Kong in a week-long consulting assignment that culminates in a presentation to the Chinese host company.
China In Transition
This course provides MBA students an opportunity to gain insight into doing business in China and in the Chinese business environment. If we do the consulting option, the course will provide you international consulting experience through an assignment with a 100% Chinese-Owned firm or a State-Owned-Enterprise (SOE) in China. Our partner for the program is a Chinese university located in either the mainland or in Hong Kong.
