Taxes: Gaps and Traps - February 23, 2007
Everyone knows the old saying, "Nothing is certain but death and taxes." But when it comes to taxes, certainty does not have to be synonymous with confusion.
On February 23rd, business, government, and academic experts came together to help Central Indiana's small and mid-sized business executives navigate the tax system. Information was presented on avoiding legal liability, overpayment and filing mishaps. The session was informative and well received.
One business executive who attended told a Chamber team member that a tip he learned could save his business more than $2 million in tax liability over the next several years.
