"Business professionals nationally recognize the Kelley name. They know Kelley graduates have been through excellent schooling and training and are truly ready for work in the real world of business."

Accepted into two other business schools, Joshua Fritcha decided on a two-for-one in choosing Kelley at IUPUI – an "incredible business school located in the heart of Indianapolis."

It's Kelley Indianapolis' urban setting that sets it apart from other business schools, according to Fritcha, a triple major in Human Resource Management, Management and International Studies.

"With world-class professors, endless resources and an extremely well-rounded curriculum, Kelley encompasses everything a top-notch business school should have and more," notes Fritcha. "And, we have employers right here in the city seeking interns and looking for Kelley students to hire."

It's Kelley's total package that appeals to Fritcha, a full-time student who works 30 hours a week at Orientation Services for IUPUI's University College division. In addition to his studies and coordinating orientation for incoming freshmen, Fritcha finds time to serve as chair of Kelley Student Government and as a coordinator and mentor for the Summer Academy Bridge program. He's also involved in the Society for Human Resource Management Undergraduate Student Government and intramural sports at IUPUI.

"Through my involvement with Kelley and campus organizations, I've established great connections, allowing me to network with local companies and Kelley administration," Fritcha says. "I've also developed leadership skills that will help me in my upcoming job search and in my future career."

Complementing his study at Kelley, Fritcha recently spent a semester studying international business at John Cabot University in Rome. Calling it a "great opportunity" both academically and personally, Fritcha traveled extensively while in Europe, making visits to Germany and Greece.

"I took Latin in high school, and we covered a lot of Roman history," Fritcha says. "It was really wonderful to be able to see firsthand all of the monuments and history I've heard about."

On track to complete his undergraduate degree in just three and half years, Fritcha is still weighing his career options, but knows he wants to stay in Indiana – either near Indianapolis or Fort Wayne. Regardless of where he ends up, he's certain his Kelley education will be an asset.
