The Honors Program
The Kelley Honors Program offers select students across all Kelley majors the opportunity to enroll in courses providing the following:
- Smaller Classes
- Increased interaction with professors
- Forums for vibrant classroom discussions
- Work closely with other Honors students on engaging team projects
- Build relationships with other motivated, high-achieving Honors students

Application Requirements
In order to apply for the Kelley Honors Program, a student must meet the following criteria:
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.3 or above
- Have completed 26 credit hours
- Be admitted or intend to apply for admission to the Kelley School of Business
Exceptions: Students directly admitted into the Kelley School of Business & students who are part of the University College Honors Program may apply before meeting the 26 credit hour requirement. These students must maintain a 3.3 GPA or above prior to beginning Kelley Honors courses.

Program Requirements
In order to successfully complete the Kelley Honors Program, a student must:
- Maintain a Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above
- Maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above in Honors courses
- Complete 24 total Honors credit hours (18 hours of required Kelley courses + 6 hours of Honors electives
Probation: Any student who fails to maintain the GPA requirements will be put on probation status for one semester and be required to meet with the Director of the Honors Program to discuss their standing in the program. If the student is unable to meet the GPA requirements in the subsequent semester, they may be dismissed from the program.
Honors Courses
Students will be required to complete the following 18 credit hours (6 courses) within Kelley in addition to 6 credit hours of Honors electives (see below):
- F304 Financial Management: Honors (I-Core)
- Fall Only
3 Credits - M304 Marketing Management: Honors (I-Core)
- Fall Only
3 Credits - P304 Operations Management: Honors (I-Core)
- Fall Only
3 Credits - Z304 Managing & Behaviors in Organizations: Honors
- Spring Only
3 Credits - J402 Administrative Policy: Honors
- Fall Only
3 Credits - W494 Wells Leadership Seminar: Honors
- Spring Only
3 Credits - Total Kelley Honors Credit Hours: 18 Credit Hours
Additionally, each student will be required to complete 6 credit hours of Honors electives (generally 2 courses). Classes eligible for Honors electives include:
- Any course listed in the University College Honors course list (available on the UC Honors site)
- Courses taken as an H-Option
H-Option
H-Option allows a student who is unable to take a regularly offered Honors elective course the option of counting a non-Honors course for Honors elective credit.
In order to do so, the student must meet with the professor and design a research project or paper which is of Honors quality. If agreed to by the student, professor and Honors Program Administrator, and completed successfully, the course will count toward the six hours of required Honors elective credit. The student must still complete all regularly assigned coursework and will receive their course grade based on this work. An Honors notation will not appear on the student's transcript for an H-Option course, but will be recorded in the Honors database maintained by the Honors Program.
