Summer Visiting Students
Students coming home for the summer may take classes at IUPUI as a visiting student and then transfer the courses to their home school. Check with your home institution to make sure they will accept your transfer courses.
The following steps will help make your visit to IUPUI easier.
- Apply to IUPUI as a visiting student.
- If you want to take business courses submit Request to Take Business Courses as a Non-Degree Visiting Student along with copy of transcript for prerequisites to Deb Moore.
- Find course and course number you wish to take.
- Contact Deb Moore for permission to take the classes.
- Register for the classes.
- Study and pass the class with a grade of C or higher.
- Go to the Office of the Registrar and request your IUPUI transcript to be sent to your home school.
- Notify your home school that the transcript is coming so they will be prepared to transfer the course.
